General Maintenance Worker
Full Time Position
Mon – Fri. 8:30 – 4:30

In a compassionate, hospitable and non-judgmental manner the General Maintenance Worker will be responsible for maintaining the buildings of Good Shepherd in good working order, utilizing all available resources including outside contracted services. Experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry and painting is required. Excellent problem solving skills. Responsibilities will include receiving and responding to work orders to satisfy their requirements. The General Maintenance Worker must be available to participate in an on-call rotation with other maintenance workers, and be willing and able to do snow removal at all Good Shepherd properties.
Must have a minimum three years experience in a general maintenance role, with some experience working in tenants units. Certification in CPR or a willingness to be certified is also required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity. Must hold a valid non-probationary driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Fluency in a second language is considered an asset. The selection process will include interviews and a skills assessment.
