Job Description:


Reporting to the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for providing general administrative and operational support to management and other employees.

Responsibilities and Duties


- Processing purchase and sale transactions in Sage Accounting

- Sorting, Filing and Organizing invoices and receipts

- Receive, screen and direct calls to the appropriate individuals

- Greeting, assisting and directing all visitors/customers arriving at the office

- Assistance in computer correspondence for management and employees

- Provide secretarial and administrative support

- May perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills


- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with little or no supervision

- Perform duties with little or no error in a timely manner

- Attention to detail- Ability to handle telephone calls in an efficient and professional manner

- Flexible, able to work with various departments

- Ability to analyze, input and organize data

- Good communication skills both verbally and in written form

- Self-motivated, team player, able to work well under pressure

Work Site Location

1575 Main Street E. Hamilton, ON L8H 1C4
Work Site is Bus Accessible


- Must have at least 1 year experience in related role

- Must have at least 3 years of office experience in an administrative role

- Experience with Sage Accounting software is an asset

- Post-secondary secretarial/office administrative education is an asset

- Dynamic professional with interpersonal skills and ability to interact with multiple personalities

- Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
