Job Description:

Purpose:

To design and create multimedia and graphical resources (e.g. graphic and digitized images, audio and video clips, interactive applications, animation etc.) for Occupational Disease Prevention and Pesticide Safety that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of communication, information or promotional initiatives, activities and projects aimed at internal or external audiences. To provide creative support to website design.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Design and create multimedia and graphical products by: Developing final multimedia products through the design and creation of original content (e.g. illustrations, animations, audio, photography, video and music) using electronic technology, computer software and communication processes, plus similar techniques using existing materials (e.g. sound, video, audio and graphics), gathering where necessary. Providing creative and technical guidance to other staff as appropriate.

Work Site is Bus Accessible

Requirements

Experience and understanding of Social Marketing in the public domain ideal, including basic tenets of Communications and Web design.  Knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Issues and/or Public Health desirable.

Creative skills necessary to convey concepts in a multimedia or graphic form, significant written communication skills to solicit and draft content, & ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
