Job Description:

AbleLiving Services is a non-profit organization providing personal support services to adults with disabilities living within their own home or one of our independent living facilities. Our clients direct and customize the services they receive and we support them to maximize their independence and enhance their quality of life. We provide services across the Golden Horseshoe in the Mississauga, Burlington, Stoney Creek and Hamilton communities.

We are currently hiring a Personal Attendant to join our Palmer Place Project team located in Burlington.  This Part-Time position will offer you a competitive wage, paid orientation and on-going professional development opportunities.  


  • Providing non-medical personal support services, life-skills support and light housekeeping duties for adults in a vulnerable population group to enable them to remain independent in their own homes.
  • This support is provided under the direction of the clients and/or their alternate decision maker, and is in accordance with the client services contracts and supervisors’ directives and within the laws and regulations affecting the provision of these services.

Work Site Location

Burlington, Ontario
Work Site is Bus Accessible



  • High School Diploma
  • Courses relating to personal support services for persons with disabilities or seniors, health & safety, first aid, physical and emotional needs of persons an asset
  • Experience providing support for persons with disabilities or seniors on a paid or voluntary basis either in a work setting or through personal life experiences is beneficial.
